On Sunday, June 20, 2010 at approximately 8:30 p.m. there was a luring of two eleven year old boys. The incident occurred near 43 St E/Nicollet Av S.

A male in a vehicle pulled up next to the children and said he would give them five dollars if they got in the car with him. The boys refused and the suspect left without further incident. The children walked home safely to a nearby address.

The suspect is described as a bald, black male. He was driving a black Buick Regal with Minnesota license plates similar to MEU602. That is not the correct plate per Department of Motor Vehicles records.

There is no further information at this time. Please see this tip sheet for safety tips regarding luring.

UPDATE: Here is a link to tv news coverage. There was also an earlier broadcast with KFNA president Chris Sur highlighting the importance of block leaders.
