Time: 6:30-8pm
Where: 5th Precinct Community Room 3101 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis 55408 (Visitor parking lot off 1st Av S just south of 31st St W)
The purpose of the meeting is to conduct block leader training for new leaders (or current leaders who would like a refresher). This meeting is informal and more than one representative per block is encouraged to attend.
RSVP preferred. However, walk-ins are welcome. To RSVP contact CPS Amy Lavender at 612.673.5407 or amy.lavender@ci.minneapolis.mn.us.
If you would like to be trained as a block leader but can’t attend this meeting, please contact Amy to schedule a different time.

Kingfield Neighbors–if you missed last fall’s round of home energy workshops (and last spring’s too!) you can still attend the sessions that are occuring in other neighborhoods. The workshop is still free to attend you still come home with lots of free stuff; KFNA is no longer covering the home visit fee of $30 but the only way to sign up for this visit is by attending the workshop so we still encourage you to do both steps!
We have several upcoming workshops that Kingfield homeowners are more than welcome to attend. They are being held on:

Tuesday, November 9th at 6:30 p.m. at Minnehaha Academy South Campus (4200 West River Pkwy)

He has presided over high profile issues such as the 2008 U.S. Senate race recount and spearheaded change to make it easier for military personnel to vote. The Secretary of State is a protector of democracy, and will have critical input on such controversial issues as Voter Photo ID and corporate influence on elections.
