Motorists will encounter detours and increased congestion on metro area roadways when the ramp to 46th Street from northbound Interstate 35W closes at 10 p.m. Nov. 9. The ramp is scheduled to re-open summer 2010.
The 46th Street bridge and all other freeway ramps at 46th Street will remain open during the closure.
Motorists should follow the posted detour route, which includes using the Diamond Lake Road ramp to reach northbound I-35W.
