Come welcome home  Field Neighborhoods’ Michele Norris of National Public Radio and author of ‘The Grace of Silence’!  In t he intimate setting of Turtle Bread Bakery, Michele will reflect on growing up black in south Minneapolis in the 60′s and 70′s, and provide reflections on race relations in America today, as well as strategies she has seen that break down racial barriers and build bridges between people of varying races. 

This event is sponsored by Building Bridges, whose mission is to understand how race and racism impact our communities and to build the future of our neighborhoods together.
