On Tuesday July 14, 2009, the Minneapolis School Board work session focused on the Changing School Options planning that has continued since the Board asked the administration to go back to the drawing board after the April 28 recommendation. Boundaries for elementary and middle schools were drawn for Areas A, B, and C, as well as community school attendance zones in each of several possible scenarios. Magnet buildings were identified in each scenario, and programs identified for some of the buildings, others left in a “TBD” status. Building closures were identified for each of the scenarios, and maps were provided.Â
