Appetizers and desserts artfully crafted by Scott Pampuch of The Corner Table and Theresa Lien of Anodyne are provided. Beverages (including beer and wine, selected by Scott Pampuch, and a non-alcoholic beverage, created by Theresa Lien) will be available at an additional cost.
Proceeds from ‘Living Art’ are split 50/50 between the artists and the Walldogs on Nicollet (www.walldogs.lyndale.org), a project of the Kingfield and Lyndale neighborhood associations.

The Kingfield Farmers’ Market is seeking a 2008 Farmers’ Market Coordinator. This is a Temporary position with possibility of renewal. Compensation will be hourly and based on experience at an hourly range of $13-$15. This position reports to the KFNA Executive Director.
The Kingfield Farmers’ Market was established in 2001 by the Kingfield Neighborhood Association. The mission of the Market is to provide access to a variety of high quality locally grown foods in a pedestrian friendly environment that fosters community.
The Kingfield Farmers’ Market Coordinator oversees the year around, day-to-day operations of the Kingfield Farmers’ Market in order to serve its vendors, guests, patrons, and volunteers. The regular market season is June – October on Sundays from 9:00am-1:30pm.

On Monday March 24, 2008; from 6 to 8 pm (or longer if necessary), at the 5th Precinct, Community Room, I will be holding a CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) discussion. We will talk about how we can design the environment to reduce crime, how we can use lighting to increase (or decrease) our safety, and many other issues. This is open to anyone. Crosstown Project Public Information Open House

Construction activities on the Crosstown Project will soon be in full swing again. The public is invited to attend a public information open house to learn about the upcoming construction season. Childcare will be available for children ages one year and older. The event location is handicap accessible. Ramp from northbound Interstate 35W to 46th Street closes March 19
The exit ramp from northbound Interstate 35W to 46th Street in Minneapolis is scheduled to close at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19. The ramp closure is needed for crews to continue retaining wall construction, begin utility work and to prepare for the 46th Street bridge removal, planned for early April. The exit ramp is scheduled to re-open in the fall of 2009.
The exit ramp from southbound I-35W to 46th Street remains open; however, is tentatively scheduled to close on Monday, March 24. The entrance ramps to northbound and southbound I-35W are closed.
