ArtStart [KFNA’s current programming partner at Dr. Martin Luther King Park] and Forecast Public Art seek an artist or team to develop an interactive public work of art for ArtStart’s 2013 EcoArts Fest, held on Saturday, May 18 from 11:00am-5:00pm at Harriet Island Grounds and Pavilion.
The theme of the 2013 EcoArts Fest is “Spirit of the Mississippi River.â€Â Artists / teams should be flexible and open to collaborating with ArtStart and Forecast staff, familiar with the ecology of the Mississippi River, and available on the day of the event to lead the audience participation activity.Artists / teams must reside in the seven-county Twin Cities region. Submission materials are due to Forecast Public Art’s offices at 2300 Myrtle Ave, Suite 160, St. Paul, MN 55114, or via email to kirstin@forecastpublicart.org by 5:00pm on Friday, March 29.The deadline is fast approaching! Click here to learn more.
