I. Hands-On Gardening Sessions at the ‘MLK Donation Garden’
Wednesday, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM, on the 3rd week of each month ( April 20th through September 14th, 2016)
Do you want to learn how to grow your own vegetables? Hennepin County Master Gardeners will guide you through the growing season until harvest time, addressing all your home garden questions. Sessions will feature hands-on activities working the common communal plot at the park. At the first meeting, participants and Master Gardeners together will determine a schedule for helping in the garden at times outside the scheduled sessions. Produce grown will benefit the food shelf at the Aliveness Project, a nonprofit organization serving community members living with HIV/AIDS.
