Kingfield Community Garden Tour coming July 12, 2012!

Attendance on the annual tour keeps growing so this year, we will introduce a new format to accommodate larger crowds: Garden hosts will remain at their gardens during the evening to introduce their gardens and answer questions, while those touring may view the gardens at their own pace and in whatever order they wish. We will also set up a time for the gardeners to view each other’s gardens. As in the past, we’ll end with a celebration of community and gardening at Kingfield’s Pleasant Community Garden, 38th and Pleasant Ave. S., next to the Center for Performing Arts. The garden party will feature music as well as delicious snacks and beverages provided by local businesses.
Beginning this Sunday advance tickets will be available for $10.00 at the KFNA table at the Kingfield Farmers’ Market. Tickets may also be purchased the evening of the tour.
