2)  Kingfield Farmers Market Berry Bake-Off this Sunday, July 12 and tasters get to help elect the winner of the People’s Choice award using Ranked Choice Voting!  

 

This is the Market’s way of helping educate Minneapolis voters about Ranked Choice Voting before the November 3rd election.   Implementation is now on the fast track and the most important piece of this is educating voters about the new and improved voting system. Get more information on Ranked Choice Voting (aka Instant Runoff Voting) which will be used in Minneapolis elections this fall at FairVote.

3)  Kingfield’s HOURCAR will be moving into 38th and Nicollet this week!  See it while it visits the Kingfield Market this Sunday July 12 or attend the inauguration at 3800 Nicollet on Thursday July 16, 7:30 PM.  At both events you can take the MN Energy Challenge and receive a promotion code from KFNA valued at $50 or more to waive the application fee to become an HOURCAR member!

5) Two ramps on northbound I-35W in Minneapolis closed July 6

 

Motorists will encounter ramp closures on northbound I-35W in Minneapolis. The entrance ramp from 35th Street and the exit ramp to 31st Street from the freeway will close at 5 a.m. Monday, July 6.  For more information on detours and timeline please visit here.
