3)      Lyndale Avenue Project Update: Visit the Lyndale Project Page  at www.eastharriet.org/lyndale-project.html

Here is a list of the postings/updates made:

  • Boulevard Sod and Tree Plantings (Updated 6/22)
  • Signal Lights to Be Activated (Updated 6/22)
  • Project Activities At A Glance Schedule

Here are a couple of highlights and important notes:

The sod beginning to be placed in boulevards from Minnehaha Parkway to 38th Street will be watered by the contractor for thirty (30) days after placement. After thirty days has passed, watering and all other upkeep of the sod is the responsibility of the property owner.

The new traffic signals at 50th, 46th, 48th and 43rd will be turned on by this Friday, June 26. Street lights in these intersections (the new 30′ shoe box lights) will be turned on at the same time. Street lights not in these intersections will be turned on in September. More detailed information on the timing of the placement of the pedestrian level lights and activation of the remaining new signal lights will provided as I get it. As those in the Lyndale and CARAG neighborhoods know, there will not be a signal light at 32nd and Lyndale when the project is completed.
