Neighborhood Community Engagement Commission Election Results

Please join the NCR Department in welcoming the 10 newly seated members on the Neighborhood Community Engagement Commission (NCEC). At the City-wide election held on Thursday, June 28, neighborhoods in NCEC Districts 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8 chose 5 members to serve their neighborhoods on the commission. The new members are: Denis Houle (District 2), Doron Clark (District 4), Kenya McKnight (District 5), Henry Jimenez (District 6)[Kingfield], and Marcea Mariani (District 8).
On Friday, June 29th, the City Council approved 4 new appointments and 1 re-appointment to serve on the commission. The Mayoral appointees are Ishmael Israel and Gregg Massey and the Council appointees are Jeffrey Martin, Saciido Shaie and Jeffrey Strand. Through the input and work of the Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission, residents and neighborhood organizations play a key role in enhancing and shaping how the City engages its residents.
