You mean neighbors are actually asking for more Nicollet Pothole?  After National Night Out they sure are!

After tasting Nicollet Pothole at their registered block party, neighbors asked Sebastian Joes to make more of the 2009 Kingfield specialty flavor conceived of the Kingfield Neighborhood Association Green Committee and biked to all registered block parties by the KFNA Board.  Nicollet Pothole is a dark chocolate ice cream with a dash of salt (sea, not road!), a covering of caramel, holes of fudge, and a heavy gravel of toffee chunks.  Definitely one of the best “rides” on one of the worst roads in Minneapolis!

Sebastian Joes willingly jumped back into the factory and was mixing a batch of Pothole by 10 AM, the morning after National Night Out.  As of today, August 6 2009, Nicollet Pothole will be available at all Sebastian Joes locations, as well at Anodyne at 4301 Nicollet!

Enjoy a Pothole today!

Folks – Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful ice cream treat Tuesday.

I know how hard you all worked, and the reward was fabulous. This was the best flavor since the cucumber one.

Thanks for hustling on our behalf!

thanks for helping make our block party great. I did not get any ice cream as I was busy talking, but I am heading over to Sebastion Joes to try and get some right now!

We had a great block party at Harriet Square townhomes, with lots of neighbors from Garfield, Harriet and Lyndale. We don’t block off a street, but use our parking lot. We were disappointed, however, that we didn’t get the Nicollet Pothole ice cream, nor a visit from the police! Did you forget us? We were so looking forward to the treat!

I moved to Las Vegas in 2003, but came back this year for the NNO block party. The bonus was this ice cream – it’s all my favorite stuff in one dish! I may have to find someone here to make it. Note to all Kingfield – you’re still the best neighborhood in Minneapolis and I miss so many of you!
