The final layer of asphalt has been placed from Lake St to just north of 35th Street! Tomorrow, they will paint the lane lines in this segment. Friday they will saw and seal joints in this segment. Next week we anticipate that Minneapolis Traffic may be installing signs in this area as well. In the 3500 block, curb and gutter has been poured along with most of the driveways. Thomas and Sons anticipates, weather permitting, to place 2 more layers of asphalt in this block on Friday. Next week they will begin removals and pipe work in the south half of the 36th and Nicollet intersection, and may even begin some sidewalk work.
