The sixth annual Kingfield Community Art Show and Silent Auction was held Friday evening, April Fools Day, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Center for Performing Arts. The theme this year was “April Foolishness.” 

This marked the first time the event was held at the Center for Performing Arts, a space that posed some interesting challenges, with set up for the show having to be scheduled around dance classes. Anodyne and Rau + Barber have hosted the art show and silent auction in the past.

Kingfield’s 2011 Community Art Show

Kingfield’s Community Art Show is this Saturday, March 20 and the on-line show is available for your viewing here! 90 artists share 120 works–all for sale at this one-night event and silent auction! All pieces sold by auction Saturday, March 20.

Food prepared by local restaurants including Anodyne, Butter Bakery Cafe, Cafe Ena, El Meson, King’s Wine Bar. Menu creation, food preparation, service, and presentation overseen by Good Life Catering.  Serving wine by the glass selected by Cat and Fiddle and Surly Beer at a cash bar.  

Buy your $10.00 pre-show tickets at Anodyne or online at www.kingfield.org (lefthand side of the page) until Saturday afternoon.  Tickets at the door are $20.  All proceeds go directly to arts activities, events, and projects in Kingfield Neighborhood.
