Sports stadiums are being built, while thousands of children sleep in shelters every night. Billions are spent to create & drop bombs on defenseless women & children all over this world, while people claim to be “pro-life”.

It makes us want to… “FIGHT LIKE A MOTHER!” Please join us at the ColorWheel Gallery to Celebrate Mothers expressing the hopes, fears, joy, challenges, love & demands of motherhood thru visual art. (painting, collage, textiles, photography, jewelry, sculpture, poetry, song & spoken word.)

Saturday May 12th 2:00-8:00pm (Spoken word, music, poetry section of the show will be at 2 different times. 4:00pm & 6:00pm that day. )

All types of crafts welcome including food  (baked goods, canning items). Man your own table, collect your own money.

The sixth annual Kingfield Community Art Show and Silent Auction was held Friday evening, April Fools Day, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Center for Performing Arts. The theme this year was “April Foolishness.” 

This marked the first time the event was held at the Center for Performing Arts, a space that posed some interesting challenges, with set up for the show having to be scheduled around dance classes. Anodyne and Rau + Barber have hosted the art show and silent auction in the past.
