RescueWire, a nonprofit focused on providing resources and education to rescues, shelters, and volunteers, is holding their first annual Wellness Clinic taking place Saturday, May 19 at Whittier Community Center in Minneapolis.  The goal of the Clinic is to provide free and low-cost veterinary care to Minneapolis residents who might otherwise be unable to either spay/neuter their animals or keep them up to date on vaccines.  We also hope to have Minneapolis Animal Care and Control on site to sell Minneapolis animal licenses.

The clinic will feature pre-qualified spay and neuter surgeries provided by Kindest Cut at no cost to the pet owner. In addition to spay/neuter surgeries for qualified applicants, the Wellness Clinic will feature low-cost veterinary services such as:

*vaccinations (rabies, distemper & bordetella) $10 each *microchipping (price TBD) *QR dog tags $15 *nail clipping $10 *pet first-aid kits $15

Minneapolis residents can request their appointments at this link: http://www.kindestcutmn.com/make-appointment/upcoming-dates

The Wellness Clinic will be:

Saturday, May 19th, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM

Whittier Rec Center, 425 26th Street West
