  9. Kingfield Empty Bowls | Thursday, February 6th, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM | Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 4055 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis

Handmade Bowls+ Handmade Soup= Kingfield Empty Bowls, an event to build community & raise funds for NICOLLET SQUARE, a home for formerly homeless youth in Kingfield

The concept of the Kingfield Empty Bowls Event is simple: Attendees make a donation (suggested at $20 per bowl), select a beautiful handmade bowl donated by a local pottery artist, enjoy a hearty meal of soup prepared by volunteers, and then keep their bowl as a reminder that many of our neighbors are in need of food and housing.

Bowls donations are still being accepted at the Nicollet Square front desk, 3710 Nicollet Avenue South. Ring the buzzer and drop them off with the front desk receptionist—just be sure to tell them they are for the Empty Bowls event. Look also for donation boxes at Fired-up Studios, Northern Clay Center and the Edina Art Center. Need someone to pick up a larger donation? Just contact KFNA at info@kingfield.org!

Contact Sarah Linnes-Robinson at sarah@kingfield.org or 612.823.5980 if you are interested in getting involved.
