Yoga is great for EVERY BODY! Including kids! The practice of yoga (uniting mind, body and spirit) is built on the philosophy of ‘non-harm’, and when led through yoga poses and related lessons and play, kids learn techniques to slow down the nervous system, develop self-control and explore how to connect with their feelings. At YOUNG LOCUSTS Day Camps, kids entering 1st-5th grade will play games that develop concentration, self-confidence, patience, compassion, cooperation, creativity a nd leadership. Campers will connect with their inner-selves, each other and the world all while having fun!!
