Greetings from Hennepin County 4-H and the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board!
Since November, Hennepin County 4-H Youth Development Program and Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board have hosted 2 open house events to start a 4-H Club at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center. We need youth, families, and volunteers to sustain an impactful program!

Join Hennepin County 4-H and Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center staff in fun activities, learn all about 4-H, and learn about volunteer leadership opportunities that run a successful, impactful youth program in the Kingfield Neighborhood.
This event is open to all youth and adults interested in learning more about 4-H! Bring the entire family and:
- Participate in a hands-on activity
- Meet 4-H and Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Staff
- Get involved in leadership opportunities to sustain a successful club
- Make new friends and meet fellow community members
