Seeing Lots of Traffic in Our Neighborhood?

June 18, 2018 By Cheryl

Here are a few things you can do to report increased traffic and/or speeding cars that we are starting to see as a result of the construction on 35W:
1. Call 311 to provide location and time – this information goes to various city resources that are trying to address the issues caused by the highway construction.
2. Go online and submit the same information to Andrea Jenkins, our Ward 8 City Council representative (www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/ward8/contact-ward8).
3. Report the information to MNDot, they have a hotline set-up specifically for this project: 612.284.6125 – you will speak to a lovely young woman named Kristen, who is very understanding and meets weekly with the City to discuss traffic options.

Representatives from MNDot will be at the Kingfield Farmers Market on Sunday, July 22nd if you would like to learn more information about this project.

There is also a website for the project that contains useful information, and you can sign-up to receive updates: www.dot.state.mn.us/35w94/index.html
