When Mayor Rybak hosted community meetings this spring he got a lot of good feedback from people who attended the meetings. The thing we heard most often was that our property taxes were too high. The Mayor got the message loud and clear.
After making a series of incredibly difficult decisions the Mayor has proposed a 0% increase in property taxes for the next budget.
Now we are hosting community meetings again to have a conversation about the 2012 budget and how budget choices affect property taxes and City services. The Mayor especially wants your input about what services you value and where to hold the line on spending.
Please come out and join us again. Bring your friends, your neighbors, and your questions.
Please spread the word and I hope to see you there,
