Minneapolis 2040 is a draft Comprehensive Plan that shapes how the city will grow and change. The draft covers topics such as housing, job access, the design of new buildings, and how we use our streets. This draft plan is one opportunity to undo barriers and overcome inequities created by a history of policies in our city that have prevented equitable access to housing, jobs, and investments.Â
The City is currently reaching out to the Minneapolis community to discuss this draft plan and to encourage review and feedback. Consider attending this open house or provide your feedback on the draft plan via the City website. If you want to engage in a community conversation regarding the draft 2040 plan before attending the open house, feel free to come to the KFNA Redevelopment Committee meeting where this will be a primary topic of discussion on 5/7/18, also at MLK Park.
