Friday Jan. 17 and Saturday, Jan. 18, 10 am to 3 pm both days.
Help us make 110 comforters in two days for families at the US-Mexican border and Middle Eastern refugees. Judson Church and the Mennonite Central Committee will provide the batting materials, along with coffee, tea and hot water. Whether you are a knotter, sewer, stuffer or lear
ner, experts will be on hand to help. If you are a sewer, bring your machine and some fabric, whole pieces or pieces that can be sewn together. Knotters bring scissors. A sack lunch and perhaps a shareable sweet is a good idea. Meet your neighbors and help keep some families warm. See mcc.org for tips on making comforters.
