Want to learn how to grow juicy homegrown tomatoes, early radishes, and other delicious veggies? Sign up for Vegetable Growing Basics, a FREE four-class series. Whether you’re a novice vegetable gardener or an experienced gardener looking for better results, you’ll learn how to plan, plant, and maintain a vegetable garden in your yard, community garden plot, or wherever you grow your veggies.
Classes are delivered via Zoom—you can choose either Tuesday nights from 7-8 p.m. or Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday classes: March 23, March 30, April 6, April 13 Saturday classes: March 20, March 27, April 3, and 10 Classes are taught by University of Minnesota Extension Hennepin County Master Gardener volunteers experienced in teaching research-based best practices in vegetable gardening.
In past years, we offered the class at Rev Martin Luther King Jr Park. With covid, we need to meet via zoom. We hope you join us if you want to learn about growing your own local, delicious food.
