Monday December 30, 1-7 PM
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale
There is a constant need for blood donations, but even more so during the holidays. However, since this time of year is so busy, fewer people end up donating which creates an even greater blood shortage. This drive is being organized by a Kingfield High School Senior, Adelaide Granse, who besides having an interest in medicine as a career, would like to fill a need and encourage people to do something they might not have previously considered.
People ages 16 and up can donate as long as they have a valid form of identification. Those under 18 will also need parental permission, however. All eligible individuals are wanted. People will only be turned away if Red Cross determines that a person is not in their prime condition the day of donation (i.e. they are sick or their heart rate is too fast).
People who would like more information or would like to register should contact Adelaide Granse at .
