Kingfield has a brand new neighborhood forum on E-Democracy. The Kingfield Neighbors Forum on E-Democracy is for the discussion of issues and events related to the Kingfield Neighborhood in Minneapolis. It is owned by the residents of Kingfield neighborhood.  E-democracy’s Mission is to build online public space in the heart of real democracy and community, to harness the power of online tools to support participation in public life, strengthen communities, and build democracy. The Kingfield forum on E-Democracy is a place for neighbors to share and discuss news, information, issues, and current events important to us here in Kingfield.
There are three ways you can become involved:
- Consider becoming a forum member. It is as easy as creating an account for yourself on E-Democracy. If you are inclined, you may post forum topics and be an active member. Or, maybe you only want to be an observer and simply use it as another source of neighborhood news and information. Either way, it is up to you.
- Consider volunteering as a forum moderator. Forum moderators approve and disapprove of posts to the forum and ensure respectful discourse among participants.
- Consider volunteering as a forum administrator. If you have a little experience in web development and consider yourself to be somewhat technical, maybe you would like to be the go-to person for the forum.
Any of these options require only a minimum amount of time and you can set your own schedule and participate from the comfort of your own home. If you are interested in volunteering to be a moderator or forum administrator, or have any questions, contact .
