Hennepin County Waste Reduction and Compliance Specialist
The Waste Reduction & Recycling (WR&R) Unit is seeking a Waste Reduction and Recycling Compliance Specialist to lead outreach and compliance efforts related to Ordinance 13 business food waste recycling, commercial recycling and multifamily, recycling requirements. The position will also provide support in other areas, including business, multifamily, and city programs and zero waste initiatives. The closing date is January 10.
Minneapolis Parks Foundation PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Project Coordinator will be an integral part of the Minneapolis Parks Foundation team and support the efforts led by the Project Implementation Director. This position will support project implementation through coordination, administration, research, and communication with internal and external stakeholders including community members, public agency staff, and other key stakeholders. This position will support the Parks Foundation’s mission of aligning community vision and philanthropic investment toward parks and public spaces in Minneapolis, including supporting and organizing the Parks Foundation’s work with existing community organizations and initiatives. An appreciation and understanding of systems and policies within the urban ecosystem of the culturally and racially diverse city of Minneapolis is a requirement of the work. To work across sectors and diverse constituencies and communicate effectively, cultural competency is a key component of this work. The position will remain open until filled, but applications submitted prior to January 14, 2022, will receive strong consideration.
