  8. Kingfield Empty Bowls Filled a Lot of Bowls Last Thursday | ...and for Nights to Come!

At the end of the night last Thursday, volunteers packaged up the remaining soup, just 1 dozen pints left over!, and sent it home with a neighbor to take to Nicollet Square for the youth to enjoy for lunch the next day.

Thank you Anodyne Coffeehouse, Butter Bakery Cafe, Corner Table, Grand Cafe, and Kings Wine Bar for the warm and very delicious soups!

Both the bread and rice were a welcome complement to the soup--thank you Patisserie 46, Sunstreet Breads, Grand Cafe, and Victor's 1959 Cafe!

And the desserts from The Lowbrow, Curran's Family Restaurant, Royal Grounds. Diners were overjoyed to sample the Chocolate Stout Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Brownies, Peanut Butter Bars, and Gluten Free Coconut Cookies!

It can easily be said that Kingfield Restaurants fed the entire neighborhood last Thursday, both AT the 2014 Kingfield Empty Bowls event and THROUGH their food donations to their event, which brought in financial donations which exceeded $9000. This money will continue to support and feed the youth at Nicollet Square!

    Thank you Kingfield Neighborhood!
