Maple and Vine

Nov 2, 3, 4, and 5, with 7:30 PM evening performances and a 3 PM Sunday matinée

Center for Performing Arts, 3754 Pleasant Avenue South, Minneapolis

Tickets and more information available at www.theband.group

The play, written as a comedy, asks the salient questions to today's topic around nostalgia and who gains and who loses through the story of a young couple that joins a planned community that pretends it is perpetually 1955.

The BAND Group partnered with the Citizens League, a major nonprofit in Minnesota devoted toward public policy, to produce this play which asks serious questions right before this midterm election including “Was it really that ‘great’ back then? And who was it exactly ‘great’ for?”

Each performance will follow with a community discussion and information given to help voter turnout this election.

The BAND Group is a theatre company in the Twin Cities that bands together with other nonprofits to bring exposure to their causes by producing live theatre that raises awareness surrounding their work. Learn more here.
