Kingfield Farmers Market: MSP FairSkies
Sunday, July 12th, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
KFNA Table, 4310 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis
UPDATES. Please continue to file jet noise complaints at www.macnoise.com. Navigation changes have been made and we have to keep up the pressure. Learn how to file a complaint. Sign the online petition at www.mspfairskies.org to automatically send letters to all of our elected officials at various government levels.
KFNA has contributed to the purchase of data from the FAA through The Freedom of Information Act. We partnered with researchers at the U of M and will show that noise has repeatedly exceeded the limit in the South Metro. The coalition has grown to include affected cities all over the country. We now have a US Congressional Caucus, Quiet the Skies, representing us.

The 32nd Annual Minneapolis National Night Out is Tuesday, August 4, 2015: Register Your Party Now!
National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that encourages residents to get out in the community, holding block parties and getting to know their neighbors as a way to encourage crime prevention. It's a great way to promote community-police partnerships and enjoy a Minnesota summer evening surrounded by friends and family.
It is free to participate in National Night Out. When you register your event, you will get free Mystery Point Passes for Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America. Not to mention personal ice cream delivery service from Kingfield Neighborhood Association Board Members and Staff!! Registration also places you on the official list of NNO events that gets distributed to police and other departments.
Registering your NNO event and applying to close your street/alley is a single online process. Note: Not every street can be blocked off depending on the traffic flow. Generally, bus routes and high traffic streets cannot be used for block events.
You will need permission of 75% of your neighbors to be approved for street closure —keep their names and addresses handy in the event your permit application needs to be reviewed. So, contact your block and then click here to get started.
If you register by July 21 you can block your street for free. If you register from July 22 through July 29, there is a $100 fee. You will not be able to block off your street if registering after July 29.
As with many past National Night Outs, Minneapolis was ranked #1 among all U.S. cities over 250,000 population in 2013. Over 1,480 events were registered in 2014. Was yours one of them? We hope so!
