Back for another year—this grassroots, drop-in, co-ed adult softball group organized by Kingfield neighbors is anxious to hit the diamond soon!  Last year the weekly game drew approximately 20-30 people each week, different faces depending on who was available, and just like when you were a kid…teams were made, games played, and both sides shook hands and retired together afterwards to The Lowbrow for drinks and snacks. OK, maybe you didn’t go relax with a frosty mug when you were a kid, but you get the idea, right?

You can learn more by finding the group on Facebook ( or just search for Kingfield Softball).  If you aren’t on Facebook contact sarah@kingfield.org and I will get you in touch with the organizers!

This spring and summer, the Minneapolis Bicycling and Pedestrian Program is hosting over 40 rides, walks and classes to help you get back on the streets and trails. Whether you are looking to explore new bikeways in your neighborhood or trying to get the whole family riding, there is something for you. Our maintenance classes will get your bike ready to ride and our safety clinics will help you gain confidence when riding in traffic.
