KFNA Membership Meeting & Board Election

April 5, 2011 By Josh Martin

Monday April 18, MLK Park, 4055 Nicollet

6:30 One-Pot Cook-Off / 7 PM Kingfield Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting & Election

Stroll on down to MLK Park, 4055 Nicollet, one-pot in hand if you care to share and test your dish against KFNA Board members, and enjoy a sampling of tidbits and tasty treats made with care by your neighbors!

NRP Plan modifications WILL be made at this meeting. See details at www.kingfield.org, as well as  outside the KFNA Office, Room #101, 3754 Pleasant Ave. S.

Six officers (residents & business owners eligible) will be elected to the board for two-year terms. Questions regarding KFNA, its operating procedures, responsibilities, and mission can be directed to the KFNA Office, 612.823.5980 or .

NRP Plan Phase I Modification:

Move all Phase I dollars remaining (approximately $145,000) for “redevelopment projects” on Strategies 2.3.1.3 and 2.1.2.2 to Phase II Housing Staff Strategy 1.4.11.  At this time it is deemed prudent to move all Phase I NRP dollars into active Phase II contracts.  The intent of moving these dollars to this strategy is to contract them on the Non-personnel line so they can be accessed easily for future, not-yet-identified, redevelopment projects.

Kingfield has always shown up for each other. 💛 An Kingfield has always shown up for each other. 💛
And right now, that togetherness matters.

On Sunday, February 8, neighbors will gather for Kingfield Empty Bowls—sharing soup, choosing handmade bowls, and supporting local nonprofits fighting food injustice and increasing housing access in our community.

It’s about sharing space, being together, and taking care of one another in small but meaningful ways.

We’d love to see you there.
