Kingfield PorchFest
Kingfield PorchFest, coming to Kingfield on June 18! PorchFest is an evening of free acoustical music held at free venues throughout Kingfield on a single evening. PorchFest is a chance for you to walk the dog, stroll the baby, or pack a cool beverage and meander with your honey from home to home enjoying the beauty and talent of our amazing neighborhood!
Artists performing at this event are doing so to share their love of music so please also pack your pockets with change to share your love back with them in the form of tips!
Looking forward to listening to some great local music and enjoying some beautiful weather on June 18th!
Here’s the map of performers. Check the day of the event for additional updates.

Nicollet Open Streets
Nicollet Open Streets returns on Sunday, September 20th! From Lake Street to 46th street, from 11 AM to 5 PM, Nicollet Avenue will be closed to motorized transportation. It’s a celebration for our street, with activities, music, food, and more! If you drive to the event, feel free to park in Kmart’s parking lot because, as a Nicollet Open Streets Neighborhood Sponsor, they are providing free parking. Then put on your walking shoes and see what’s great about the Kingfield and Lyndale neighborhoods from a different perspective.
Kingfield Empty Bowls
Handmade Bowls+ Handmade Soup= Kingfield Empty Bowls, an event to build community & raise funds for NICOLLET SQUARE, a home for 42 formerly homeless youth in Kingfield managed by Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative
The concept of the Kingfield Empty Bowls Event is simple: Attendees make a donation (suggested at $20 per bowl), select a beautiful handmade bowl donated by a local pottery artist, enjoy a hearty meal of soup and bread prepared by local restaurants and served by volunteers, and then keep their bowl as a reminder that many of our neighbors are in need of food and housing.
Bowls donations are being accepted at The Color Wheel Gallery, 319 West 46th Street, from noon-7 PM Tuesday through Saturday or noon-4 PM on Sundays (call 612.823.5693 to confirm) . Need someone to pick up a larger donation? Just contact KFNA at !
