KFNA January Board Meeting

The January in-person board meeting begins with a Community Forum—you can ask you question or share a comment at the meeting. Can’t attend in person? Contact to get a Zoom link. The Kingfield board will be discussing 2022 fundraising outcomes, 2023 events, and the potential organizational merger with the Lyndale and Tangletown Neighborhood Associations.

Please note, masks are required at the meeting due to the Hennepin County COVID level being “medium”.

An Invitation from Simpson Housing to attend the Open House at Our Interim Shelter

Location: former Zion Lutheran Church site, 128 West 33rd Street.

All are welcome to join us and tour Simpson’s interim shelter site before we open in mid-January. Light refreshments will be served.

  • We are pleased to announce that we will be temporarily relocating our shelter to Zion Lutheran Church in the Lyndale neighborhood mid-January.
  • Construction is still in progress; we are pleased to open for a casual visit before we begin welcoming guests.
  • Please join us on January 5th for an open house and tour beginning at 5:00 p.m.
  • All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
  • We will announce the date the interim shelter site will open as soon as the construction is complete.

Holiday Cookie Exchange!

Join in the 3rd Annual Cookie Exchange hosted this year by the Lyndale Neighborhood Association in the  South Nicollet Action Center Community Room. Please bring 2 dozen cookies (or more) to share and a few for snacking. We will provide apple cider and coffee. All are welcome!

Simpson Housing Open House

Simpson Housing is temporarily relocating their extended-stay shelter to Zion Lutheran Church in the Lyndale neighborhood in December. Please join them at Zion, 128 west 33rd Street, for an Open House on Saturday, December 3rd, 10 AM – noon
