The process of redistricting in Minneapolis has begun. Using 2020 census data, the Minneapolis Redistricting Group, composed of the nine-member Redistricting Advisory Group and the Minneapolis Charter Commission, will complete new ward and park district boundaries by March 29, 2022. More information on Redistricting can be found at:Â minneapolismn.gov/redistricting.
The public can watch sessions on:
- Minneapolis City Council TV
- Minneapolis YouTube channel
- Comcast Channels 14 and 799
Public input is a vital part of this process and the Redistricting Group holds public listening sessions. Anyone may sign-up to speak. Sign-up forms are available online and must be completed at least 24 hours in advance of the listening session. The Office of the City Clerk will email a phone number and conference code to join the meeting by phone.
