Kingfield Block Contacts are invited gather and share ideas and strategies around KFNA’s 100 Days of Community Campaign! Check out the Calendar of activities!
As we come to 1 year of the Covid-19 pandemic and the beginning of the trial of Derek Chauvin for the murder or George Floyd, Kingfield neighbors are putting together 100 Days of Community – a way to get neighbors connected, have conversations about safety, and come together as a neighborhood for antiracist learning and action for safety beyond policing. The purpose of this gathering is to engage with and collect feedback from Kingfield neighborhood Block Contacts about what strategies are working to promote local community and public safety initiatives in our neighborhood. We are also still collecting community strategies and leadership from volunteers for strategies focused on:
- Fight the Fear work and organizing
- Crowdsourcing to support city-wide violence prevention initiatives
- Community-building event(s) and practices
If you want to sign-up to be a Block Contact for your street, please sign up here, and then you will be invited to this gathering! https://forms.gle/cFyi71978rryZSUZA
