We at the Kingfield Neighborhood Association frequently boast about how talented and committed our community is, but when we began talking about all the great things that neighbors are doing, both during the current pandemic and beyond, we realized that you might not know each other as well as we know you. This online series of one-on-one interviews with neighbors is designed to help you get to know your neighbors better, understand what they do and what drives and fulfils them.

In this first episode meet Whitney Emanuel.  Whitney is a single mother, business owner, Jesus lover, and a Kingfield Neighbor. She has been a financial adviser for 8 years, starting at Ameriprise and launching her own business, Strategic Visionaries, in 2016. She loves to see the transformation and liberation her clients go through by learning more about their money.

Interviewer: Jerome Rankine, Editorial Director at Pollen and a Kingfield Neighborhood Association Board Member

The SUN! A Kingfield Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt

Take a walk today and look for the sun. Not in the sky, but on neighbor’s front doors and windows!

Every Tuesday neighbors are decorating a window or front door with a certain symbol, creating a community scavenger hunt for people out walking in the neighborhood. All you need to do to participate is paint, draw, or even cut out an image of the symbol and put it facing outward for the world to see. This is one way neighbors can still connect, even when we actually cannot due to quarantine.
