Kingfield Presidential Primary Polling Party at MLK Park

Minnesota has changed how we nominate major party presidential candidates, and Kingfield will do so as part of Super Tuesday all day at MLK Park at 4055 Nicollet Avenue South. If you’ve voted in the last decade in Kingfield, hopefully you’ve seen our polling party tents on the park grounds. All Kingfield residents are invited . . . join the party, and have free coffee or tea and a bite to eat with us! Get more information here!

Look for our tents around the park building–if the weather is chill we will have the fire pits blazing!

You’ll also have an opportunity to learn more about becoming a volunteer KFNA Board Director, and find out about candidates already pledging for your support in electing them to the KFNA Board later in March.

New for 2020: we care about your safety and will have volunteer crossing guards stationed at the south tent at 41st Street to help you safely cross Nicollet Avenue.

This party will be fueled all day by our local restaurants and cafes and dozens of your volunteering neighbors, so stop by before and after you vote including coffee provided by Royal Grounds Coffee, Five Watt Coffee, and cookies from Curran’s Restaurant (and lots and lots of fabulours home bakers too!

A HUGE thank you to the 750 people who attended, the many volunteers, partner nonprofits, donating restaurants and ceramics studios, accordionist Thor Anderson, neighborhood baking volunteers, and Judson Memorial for being the most gracious host. KFNA will be donating back a record amount to trustincmpls, Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, and tcfoodjustice. Stay tuned for updates on how to get involved for year 16!

Kingfield has always shown up for each other. 💛 An Kingfield has always shown up for each other. 💛
And right now, that togetherness matters.

On Sunday, February 8, neighbors will gather for Kingfield Empty Bowls—sharing soup, choosing handmade bowls, and supporting local nonprofits fighting food injustice and increasing housing access in our community.

It’s about sharing space, being together, and taking care of one another in small but meaningful ways.

We’d love to see you there.
