KFNA Redevelopment Com. Mtg: Supporting Affordable Housing

Join the Kingfield Neighborhood Association Redevelopment Committee at their regular December meeting, the first Monday of the month. At 7 PM, MPLS Public Works will present their plan for a street “mill and overlay” project to occur in 2019. At 7:30 the City Of Lakes Land Trust will talk about the challenges of developing single unit affordable housing in the city, including a current site on 46th Street in Kingfield. Conversation will focus on the city issues the project ran into, and some possible actions neighbors could take to remedy the situation(s) moving forward.

From Plaid Friday to Small Business Saturday…and Beyond!

Kingfield is so full of small, unique shops that we aren’t going to list them all (for fear of leaving one of them out!)  So this Friday and Saturday, and heck, why not all holiday season?, think about supporting our many locally-owned, independently-run, one-of-a-kind businesses before you order online or visit a big box or chain store.  In Kingfield you can find handcrafted gifts, handmade food, and heartfelt experiences offered by your neighborhood restaurants and shops…often gift-wrapped and handed across to the counter to you from one of your very own Kingfield neighbors and shop owners!

Live your values. Support your community. And shop local this year!
