Twin Cities Trumpet Ensemble
Fans of the 24 trumpet ensemble have come to expect the obligatory opening fanfare at concerts, but then are astonished at the range and virtuosity of both the musical selections and the players – pop, classical, jazz. A Twin Cities Trumpet Ensemble concert is a musical feast not to be missed!
Over 100 years old, the beautiful Judson sanctuary has been called one of the finest church sound-boxes in the Twin Cities. General seating. Donations gratefully accepted..

Improv (& Pizza!) in the Garden
–A KFNA Community Outdoor Oven Event!
Kingfield is a neighborhood of many talents and some of the funniest professional improvisers in Minnesota live right here. And this Thursday, they’re putting on a live show at the Kingfield Community Garden!
Join us for an evening of improv comedy theater, pizza, and more. Six of our neighbors, who also happen to be professional improvisers, will perform a live, unscripted show that’ll be fun for the whole family. Performers include members of the civics-inspired improv comedy company, The Theater of Public Policy, alumni of Dudley Rigg’s Brave New Workshop, and current Comedy Sportz cast members.
The cast will do classic short-form improv games, similar to what you might have seen on Who’s Line Is It Anyway. There will be lots of opportunity for audience participation and it’ll all be inspired by the people and stories of Kingfield!
The cast includes:
Tane Danger
Brandon Boat
Heather Meyer
Joshua Will
Max Beyer
Jen Scott (if the baby she’s due to have this Friday doesn’t arrive early…)
It’ll be a perfectly hilarious evening in the garden enjoyed while you are consuming delicious oven baked pizza created by your own KFNA Board of Directors! Donation requested at $10 per person (sliding scale possible) to benefit both the community garden, and the construction of a new woodshed to store our oven logs.
