KFNA’s Newly Formed Equity & Outreach Community Committee Meeting

This group began meeting after the 2016 Presidential Election and is committed to making Kingfield a safer, more inclusive neighborhood for everyone. Participation on the task force is open to anyone interested in making a positive difference in our community; we are particularly interested in recruiting members from historically underrepresented groups. People of color, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to participate.

Start the year off by showing your support! Yard signs designed by KFNA’s Equity and Outreach Committee now available Butter Bakery Cafe, 3700 Nicollet, for a suggested donation of $10! Able to donate more? Please do, so that neighbors that cannot afford a donation are able to take a sign too!

KFNA Board Meeting

Wednesday, Dec. 14, 7-9 PM | MLK Park, 4055 Nicollet Ave. S

Come meet the KFNA Board of Directors, Kingfield’s 13-member volunteer board that directs the operations of this local nonprofit. Although largely focused on organizational business this month, there will be time at the meeting for Community Forum at about 7:15 PM, which is your chance to bring a question or concern to the board.   The board meets the second Wednesday of each month at this time and location; quarterly updates are provided by the 5th Precinct Police Department related to crime trends and statistics. Police reports will happen at the January, April, July and October 2017 meetings. The KFNA Board will hold it’s annual election for two-year seats on Wednesday February 22 also at MLK Park. If you would like to learn more about the organization or would like to speak at a meeting please contact Executive Director Sarah Linnes-Robinson at or 612-823-5980.

4th Annual Neighborhood Holiday Sing-Along at Judson Church

Please join us at Judson Church for the FREE 4th Annual Holiday Sing-Along. If you play an instrument, bring it along and join in.

Words (so we can sing ALL the verses) and easy sheet music for a variety of musical instruments will be provided. If you don’t play an instrument or sing, we invite you to come to hear our joyful noise!

The Gospel Five will also be there to lead us in a few carols and members of the Judson Choir too. And we can’t forget Jim ten Bensel leading us in a crazy, physical version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. So come join us and invite your friends and neighbors to this festive caroling event.

Judson is a Welcoming and Affirming neighborhood church – www. Judsonchurch.org.
