Metro CERT Annual Event

Join Metro CERT (Clean Energy Resource Team) for our annual event!  You will have an opportunity to provide input into the Minnesota 2025 Energy Action Plan!  The event will take place at the Science Museum of Minnesota Thursday, October 22nd from 3:00pm – 7:00pm!  Save your spot by registering online at MetroCert.EventBrite.  If you have questions you can contact Diana at  or call 612-278-7158.

Celebrating Little Free Libraries

Everyone loves Little Free Libraries (LFL)!  We will be celebrating one of Kingfield’s newest libraries by hosting local author Margret Aldrich at the Kingfield Farmers Market, 4310 Nicollet Ave S.  She will be there to talk about the LFL movement and her book, “The Little Free Library Book.”  Then at 1:30PM, meet us at the Center for Performing Arts, 3754 Pleasant Ave S, for a Little Free Party to dedicate the new LFL located on the 38th Street side of the building!

11AM – 1PM at the Kingfield Farmers Market, 4311 Nicollet Avenue

and

1:30PM – 2:30PM at the Center for Performing Arts, 3754 Pleasant Avenue

Annual Community Bon(ding)fire – Cancelled

CarolingOnce again, the Kingfield Neighborhood Association’s Crime Prevention and Safety Committee will partner with MLK Park and co-host a free fun-filled night for all ages, with a new twist – this year, in addition to toasting s’mores around a bonfire and drinking apple cider while listening to our favorite storyteller, we will also have a spectacular performance by fire-breathers!  We will be on the northern side of the building…just look for the fire pits!  Bring your own lawn chairs and prepare to be entertained!

Center for Performing Arts 20th Anniversary Party

The Center for Performing Arts centerforperformingarts.net is celebrating 20 years this October 9th with performances, oven-baked food (from the new Kingfield community bread oven!), and drink. The celebration is open to all community members. Performances and activities are free; food and drink by donation. Bring your ideas and vision for CFPA’s future to share. Activities will run from 6 to 9 PM in the back lot and yard of the Center.
