Dining Out for Life benefits The Aliveness Project. Founded in 1985, the Aliveness Project is a local nonprofit organization and community center located in Kingfield neighborhood providing on-site meals, food shelf options, integrative therapies, and vital services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS throughout Minnesota. 75% of our members live in poverty and depend on us for daily meals.

Many Kingfield and other local restaurants support this organization and participate in this event. Visit here to see the full list of over 200 participating restaurants! Or just walk around the neighborhood and spend your day eating at all your favorite Kingfield places including Blackbird, Butter Bakery Café, Café Ena, Curran’s Restaurant, Corner Table, Grand Café, Hola Arepa, Kyatchi, The Lowbrow, Pat’s Tap, Rincon 38, and Victor’s 1959 Café!

Kingfield “Bread Shares” Available in May!

ButterButter Bakery Cafe will be starting up the Spring/Summer breadshare again in May/June.  Sign up with them for a weekly bread pick up – with sandwich breads, rolls, toasting loafs and other great tasty creations from the butter bakery cafe bakers.  Get on our list by sending your name and contact info to .

Also remember you can sign up for any of 4 CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Shares at Butter as well!  They serve as the host and pick-up location for:

Join the Kingfield Neighborhood Association in our Join the Kingfield Neighborhood Association in our fight to Tackle Hunger with the annual Empty Bowls event on SOUPer Bowl Sunday (February 12th) from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm @judsonchurch41. 
All donations will go to Nicollet Square, a housing option for formerly homeless youth that provides both efficiency apartments and optional onsite mental health care and emotional support. 
Kingfield Empty Bowls is an event that brings the community together to share a meal of homemade soup and bread donated by local restaurants out of handmade bowls donated by local artists.
