Kingfield Neighborhood Association has a long history of successful, artistic projects that create a sense of identity for the neighborhood, as well as create community through the projects implementation. KFNA has completed over 70 pieces of public art since 2004. Their organizational assets that aid in accomplishing large-scale artistic projects include creativity, a willingness to think outside the box when looking for solutions, a love of partnerships, experience in sharing responsibilities and skills, good communication structures, a strong work ethic, and most of all tenacity.ย KFNA has the unique expertise to wade in the waters between between the artists, often interested in creating their own work and not tied to a community or issue, and the world of actual need, where many small nonprofits get bogged down and don’t know how to address issues to make a lasting difference.
