Annual July Event
The Kingfield Garden Tour is designed to be a self-guided, walking tour that visits between 12-20 resident-hosted gardens in a select area of the neighborhood and ends with a community celebration. This project is a fundraiser for the Kingfield Garden Group whose mission is to connect gardens and gardeners throughout the neighborhood. Each year we raise funds to support the educational classes we offer at no charge for beginning gardeners and to explore new gardening interests in our community. Past projects have included hives, mushroom logs, and an outdoor bread oven. Current projects include a community-maintained orchard, citizen boulevard tree pruning, and a donation garden growing food for the food shelf at The Aliveness Project.
