Minnehaha Parkway at I-35W (June 8 – 14)
Minnehaha Parkway at Interstate-35W in Minneapolis will close in the evening on Sunday, June 8 and remain closed until Saturday, June 14 to allow crews to set bridge beams above Minnehaha Parkway. This is part of the I-35W/Highway 62 Crosstown reconstruction project
At least one pedestrian or bike path along Minnehaha Creek at I-35W will remain open; however, the path may be intermittently closed to safely conduct work. Motorists should follow the posted detour route. Southbound I-35W traffic will not be affected as they will be rerouted along northbound lanes of I-35W. Motorists may cross I-35W at 38th Street, 42nd Street, Diamond Lake Road and 60th Street.
