Boots to the Ground: 365 Days of Action until the 2020 Election!

Did you know that Minnesotan’s have an extra election date this year, on March 3rd? Lots of people don’t realize that in 2016, legislation was passed establishing a presidential nomination primary. With three full elections in 2020 we will need more election judges, more pressure on employers to declare election days as holidays, and more people working to educate others about early voting options and to get your neighbors out to vote (even if there is snow on the ground on March 3rd!)

Kingfielders, come get engaged! Live or work in a different neighborhood? You’re welcome too, as we would love to talk with you about kicking off your own GOTV effort!

Join KFNA at Harriet’s on Sunday and learn more about how you can help inform your neighbors of this change and additional voting opportunity!KFNA’s GOTV (Get Out the Vote) team will buy you a soda or a beer and talk with you about your commitment to action as a GOTV Block Captain, Election Judge, Voting Booth Host, GOTV Yard Sign Distributor, or a variety of other efforts coordinated by community partners.

Kingfield has always shown up for each other. 💛 An Kingfield has always shown up for each other. 💛
And right now, that togetherness matters.

On Sunday, February 8, neighbors will gather for Kingfield Empty Bowls—sharing soup, choosing handmade bowls, and supporting local nonprofits fighting food injustice and increasing housing access in our community.

It’s about sharing space, being together, and taking care of one another in small but meaningful ways.

We’d love to see you there.
