Focused on 42nd to 46th Streets & East of Nicollet Avenue (but open to anyone with concerns)
On July 28, residents gathered to discuss vehicle and pedestrian safety concerns with a focus on First Avenue between 42nd and 46th Street. Concerns were also raised at this meeting regarding mobile drug dealing in the area, and issues with loitering and potentially criminal behavior associated with customers of neighborhood gas stations. The Minneapolis Police Department will lead this meeting, focusing on suspected drug dealing and crime trends in the southeastern portion of our neighborhood. Police Officers and our Crime Prevention Specialist will be on hand to provide information and explain resources that are used to combat these types of crimes.
