What did we plant last week in the MLK Donation Garden? It’s a Mystery!

Join us This Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 PM to find out what we are planting this week!

MLK Donation Garden Weekly Work, Every Tuesday, 5:30-6:30 PM,

Northern Side of the Park Building at the Raised Beds

Our MLK Volunteer Veggie Team is BACK, and looking forward to working the soil with neighbors and teaching about growing food. This smart group of experienced gardeners, including some Hennepin County Master Gardeners!, wants to help neighbors learn to be successful in self-sufficient in vegetable growing, harvesting, and preserving. Their classroom is the raised garden beds on the north end of the park building and their product all gets delivered to The Aliveness Project who uses the food in their daily meal program.

It’s about sharing space, being together, and taking care of one another in small but meaningful ways.

We’d love to see you there.
